Executive committee is the driving force of our Tamil sangam, but that has to be replenished every two years to bring in new participation and energy into running our Tamil sangam. Our sangam has been fortunate to have dedicated members and volunteers like you. If you want to be more than a member or a volunteer this is your opportunity to be part of the core Tamil sangam team the "Executive committee". You or if you know someone who want to be part of the Tamil Sangam please nominate them.
POSITIONS: Total of 7 Positions (President, Vice-President, Secretary and Treasurer and 3 Joint Secretaries). All positions are 2-year service term.
Nominations are invited on behalf of the aspiring volunteer candidates willing to serve Indy Tamil Sangam in the EC. Any member of Tamil Sangam of Central Indiana (TSCI) in good standing, meeting all the requirements as stipulated in the by-laws, is eligible to contest for any of the positions in the Executive Committee.
Guidelines.
1. A member can nominate only one candidate for a single post.
2. A candidate can be nominated for only one post.
3. Executive Committee Candidates must be active members in good standing with paid membership in our Sangam.
Before nominating a candidate, please ascertain candidate’s interest and willingness to serve the Sangam. This is very important to avoid embarrassment, surprise and anxiety to the nominee.
Nominations will be accepted until 10:00 PM on Sunday, Nov 22 nd, 2015.
